Bucher Family Vacation

A couple of weekends ago we enjoyed our 2nd annual Bucher Family Vacation to Nashville, IN. I must declare this fun family time a success on many levels. Let’s just say that there were games (Memory for the kids, Table Top Corn Hole for the adults), delicious meals, frolicking in the pool and local town, nap times for everyone, seemingly free-flowing beverages and snacks, and time to cuddle with my nephews, parents, and sibs like we don’t often get. A huge thanks to my parents for working so hard to get all of us together for these special times. Some photos for your viewing pleasure:

Firsts for TG

First ride as a “big girl” in the grocery cart. She had all the excitement of an Indy Car driver as we began our trek around the store. What a great shopping companion.

First time in the playground swing. Yay for unseasonably warm weather this month in Indiana!

And to top that off, first time swinging side-by-side with big bro.

Fell off the face of the blog

Sorry for that incredible lapse in the blogosphere. I guess it’s been kinda busy since the holidays.

Hey, does anyone else have this problem. You work really hard to put all the Christmas things away. And you look everywhere to find them all, because you don’t want to have to drag a box back out to put away anything you missed. But no matter the effort, you still leave something out. That’s how it is here. Every year. In fact, this year, we left three things out: our nutcracker, the snowman door-draft blocker, and an ornament that must have fallen off the tree and rolled under LB’s toy drawers. Guess what? All these things are STILL out. Maybe they’ll be out until next year?!

Speaking of the holidays, we got to spend so many wonderful weeks with the Limas. What a joy! Here’s our holiday photo…sorry we didn’t get any cards out. (Hey, I can’t even get a blog put together!)
