Look out, Seattle

Hungry, hungry hippo is taking the town by storm, one high chair at a time!

Smiling in Seattle

For those of you who aren’t with LB 24/7, a rare glimpse of 2, count ‘em, 2 of his top 4 teeth. Gotta love a toothy grin. Look out, Tooth Fairy. The LBs are growin’ up, and a new Little Monster will soon join the group!

Not sure what you call these skills…

But I got ‘em!

Next time, mommy will scope out the high chairs at the food court!

This goofy table is at nose level for poor LB. Regardless, he ate a great lunch of cherries, melon, bread, blueberries, and Gerber sweet potatoes. Oh, and two of the previously mentioned animal crackers for dessert.

On a side note, the high chairs were, say, 20 feet or so away. We’ll do better tomorrow!

I love animal crackers

LB just discovered how tasty they are. And that bib…well…it gives new meaning to hungry, hungry hippo!

My first days in Seattle

I'm in the Indy airport for the first time. There's my plane!

God bless NWA for an empty seat in our row. I'm ready to fly!

Lunch at Lowell's, yum! Who wants crabcakes when I've got Cheerios and cut up nectarine?

Ugh. I think I ate too much.

Better work it off with a great walk outside.

We’re having a great time in Seattle. Thanks for sharing in the fun of it with us!

Another beautiful day!

We were without transportation today, so I decided we should spend part of the afternoon “lounging” poolside. LB likes playing in the pool as much as outside the pool, and I got my jollies trying out new hair styles on our sweet baby. Behold…

Cheering for your meals

Here’s a video that demonstrates a typical meal with LB. Included is a bit of him feeding himself, a lot of him cheering himself on (totally cute, if I do say so myself), and too much of him thwarting my efforts to spoon feed him some sweet potatoes. He also makes almost all of his during-meal faces, just for you! Now if he weren’t thwarting my efforts to get him to take a nap, we’d call the afternoon a success…

We agree!

LB’s Aunt Karen posted earlier this week a reminder about how cute baby feet are. The Limas could not agree more!!! KLO, we LOVE the adorable picture of Little Buch’s feet. I caught a shot of Lima Bean’s little tootsies here, the little guy having fallen asleep in the car and taken a relaxing position in his car seat. Ahhhhhhhh, babies!!!!!!
