Just plain licked

One of the greatest things about having babies around is watching them discover things about themselves. Sometimes they figure out a new skill or discover a body part for the first time, and they’re so intrigued, but the fascination doesn’t always last long. We knew when LB discovered the joy of his tongue this week we needed to get it recorded quickly! Enjoy!

Almost summer break!

There’s a reason that I bust my hump 10 months of the year to teach, plan, grade, organize, learn, and grow towards perfecting my craft…

School breaks with this fantastic little man…

my email to daddy

Dear Dad,

I’m sending you this email to let you know that I love you and miss you. I’m learning so much…even about one of your favorite subjects…computers!! I hope things are going well with your work this week. Don’t forget to bring me some toys when you come home.

Love,
LB

The pen is tastier than the sword

So, cute story here. The other day, I took little LB in to hang with his grandpa. Good ol’ Grandpa Bucher was looking quite dapper, having recently arrived home from work. As LB snuggled in and began to play with Gramps, he deftly snagged Grandpa’s pen right out of his shirt pocket and put it in his mouth. Neither Gramps nor I could believe how swift he was. Just another reminder of how closely we need to watch LB…AND how awesome he is!

Awwwwww!

I am utterly in love with my precious son. He has so many awesome qualities, as I know all mothers think about their children. It’s the big things, like having a beautiful little human depend on you and love you unconditionally, watching their growth and progress happening at light speed, participating with them on this amazing ride called LIFE. And a million other reasons, both big and small, that make me fall in love with him more each minute. This picture may seem like a small thing to you, but how adorable are chubby baby feet??? I almost want to cry from their beauty to me!

“I still live with my parents”

Dubach, you have such an awesome sense of humor.

However, LB thinks you should have gotten a matching shirt for Mommy.

Incidentally, we’re at Grandma and Grandpa’s right now!!
